Innovation Agency
The Innovation Agency is the Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) for the North West Coast, one of 15 regional AHSNs in England. The AHSNs operate as the key innovation arm of the NHS.
The Innovation Agency understand the needs of local health systems and is well placed to broker innovative solutions, while collaborating across England to take what works best and quickly spread it nationally.
Role on the project
The Innovation Agency is the lead partner on this project. Innovation Agency partnerships include 21 NHS trusts, 18 clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), local authorities, social care providers and charities. The Innovation Agency’s role in the Health Matters project includes finding partner clinical sites for the evaluation of products and services.

Liverpool John Moores
University (LJMU)
LJMU is a vibrant community of over 23,000 students from over 100 countries world-wide, 2,400 staff and 250 degree courses.
Role on the project
Its role on Health Matters is to provide knowledge and expertise for SMEs to develop an evaluation protocol and analyse evaluation data.

Growth Platform
Growth Platform is Liverpool City Region’s economic enabler, designed to support people and businesses to realise their potential and generate growth. Its role is to strengthen and simplify our regional ecosystem, creating a sustainable economy that reflects the needs of our community.
Role on the project
The Growth Platform will work with the other partners to identify and select appropriate businesses to be accepted onto the programme. It will be the main point of contact for businesses looking to access the programme and will lead on all communications.
